I have seen 'shrinked' PC games, but how?

    Yes it's true I have seen the same PC game FIFA 2005 in two versions: in two discs and in one disc. The single disc version will first begin the 'install' procedure and then an 'extracting' one. Can this be done only compressing the two disc with softwares like 'WinZip, WinRar or else or there more at stake that we mortals can't do.

    yea, those self extracting versions are generally RIPS/DOX. stripped out all unnecassary elements from the game , left behind only whats needed to install and play the game. Generally made with either a self extracting archive or a custom installer that unpacks the game as it installs
