can any 1 give me a easy guide how to install a new hdd i have unleash x and i wanna change my hdd using evolution x
First off what do you mean you wanna change your HDD using evox?? you can't use evox to change your HDD you need a program called Xboxhdm, also is your xbox hard or soft modded?? if its hard modded changing your hard drive is a doddle, if not you got a bit of work ahead of you. Right if it is soft modded get the program i have mentioned above and READ CAREFULLY the (read me) files that come with it, there are also tut's on Afterdawn which will help if you get stuck. if you have a hard mod like myself its as easy as getting the program above and building a xbox hdd with it (again read the read me file) then loading your eeprom number onto it. do as i said get config magic, write down all the details it gives you for your Hdd, the get xboxhdm (xbox hard drive manager) and build a cloned drive of your old one with it (all is revealed once you get xboxhdm) then add the F partition with it also, remember to write down the unlock/locking codes so you can lock your drive/s back up, with a hard mod iv noticed it dont always matter but better to be safe then very sorry. any probs let me know!
If you have a Hardmodded Xbox, just simply replace the drives and insert a Slayers disc and Format the drive! It's that simple!
i have changed the hdd and i get red led the green i no there somthing wrong were do i get the slayer disc and is it easy to install
