i have recently purchased a dvd burner to burn xbox games. i burned a few. now i got my 120 gig hdd i dont know if i should return the dvd burner. and i bought a very expensive one Sony DRU-500AX for $350. i'm wondering if there's any other purpose for burner. I'm open to anyone's suggestions.
Movies Back-up storage for PC What if the 120 takes a shit?? no more xbox games so back up the games on DVD.
Yeah, i say keep the burner, cuz i got a 120gig as well, and it's filling up pretty quick and will not be able to back-up some games pretty soon. and if i had a dvd burner, i'd burn the games that i don't wanna play yet, so i could play them later, when i feel like it so i could free up some space. And as always, movies are a good idea too. But if you feel like you don't need it, and won't be burning anything, or need some cash, sell it
Take that DVD burner and Backup all your games to disk .My hard drive just went out and I lost 49 gamesI will have a backup from now on.
What does haveing a 120gb HD and a DVD Burner have to do with each other? Theres no point in keeping the backups on the HD wasting valuable space if your never going to burn them.
games run a lil faster and boot way faster when you load them from a HD.. Also nice to take with you and not cart the damn disks everywhere you go.. what else you gonna put on there anyway.. 120 gigs is about 60 games movies take up a shitload of space Burn movies, put games and music on the HD, and burn movies to DVD that makes no need for valuable space Cheers
thanx for your help everyone!! i'll definitely keep it. ididnt know the hard drive will ever get full considering i can always buy another one.
