I installed a dvd burner,it shows up as 2 drive D and F this normal

    I installed a burner, Everything works great

    I Go to computer and it installed as DVD-RW drive (D)and DVD drive (E)

    I just want to know if this is normal

    and you only have one drive on the entire computer? did you replace one? and what drive do you have?

    Also what software do you have on the PC? it may be the software setup which is making a virtual drive appear.

    Wow,thanks for the info I did not no that these things come into play,

    I have a cd drive ,then I have the dvd drive that shows up,but also shows a dvd-rom as a (AXV cd/dvd-rom scsi cdrom device)

    Like I said I have no problems with it I just wanted to know what was up.

    Sometimes I do take out my drive to test other peoples drives

    Looks like your using Alcohol or Daemon Tools
