I have a HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GMA-4020B DVD burner, my hard drive had crashed last week. I had to get a new one. I installed the drivers for my dvd rom that i got from the internet. When i put in a dvd it will not read it. Do you know what else might be wrong. I also have a 52 speed cd rom connected to it, would having 2 drives together have something to do with it?

Can you define not read it. Like can you open up the dvd and see the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders? Or do you mean you can't watch the movie?

If you can't see the folders something is setup wrong with the device and/or the drivers.

If you can see the folders but can't watch the movie, as mentioned above you need to get a program to play the dvd such as powerdvd.
