I just bought Toshiba laptop...

    I just bought toshib laptop...Its HD Ready , 1.86 and 512 ram . The Hd movies i can play them ??? thanks

    You can play HD movies on any computer if the screen is good enough. If you're talking about HD-DVD or Bluray then you need the drive. Since it's Toshiba it must be HD-DVD so if you have it then you can unless Toshiba did something weird like prevent you from doing it.
