Sounds to me like you need to do your homework. You shouldn't be modding your xbox if you are unsure of something as elementary as using your modchip programmer. You dont want to mess this up, you could damage your mod chip. You need your chip, your programmer, a new 9 volt battery, your 256KB .bin file (This is the size that you need for your bios) I recommend the M7 bios if you have to flash it.
