and, i can't find the option of writing a Data Cd on a CD-RW, i need this feature to transfer files to my modded xbox
It should be there. Open StartSmart. At the top of the window make sure it says "CD" or "CD/DVD". From the row of icons below that, select the second one from the left which is the Data icon. Next, select the "Make Data CD" which is the top left icon. NOTE: At the bottom right you should see an icon with a couple of people in it. This toggles Nero back and forth between standard and more advanced tasks. If you toggle it to the more advanced setting it will open Nero Burning ROM when you select Make a Data CD. If you toggle it to the standard setting, Nero Express opens. You could also just open Nero Burning ROM or Nero Express without using StartSmart. The important thing is to make sure Nero is in the CD mode for CDs or if you are working with DVD, that it is in the DVD mode. There is usually a button on the opening page of each feature to let you switch back and forth. You can always select "CD/DVD" and it will show all the options.
