    Does Netflix have a certain copyprotection on their dvds?

    All DVDs come with the same copyright protection scheme that their respective studio places on them. Even though they are "rental" versions of the discs, they have the same protection as their "retail" brothers.

    I agree to a certain point. I don't think you can assume that the copy protection will be identical to the regular versions. I don't even think it is safe to believe that ALL the regular versions have the same copy protection. It is very safe to assume they will all have some version of copy protected. It doesn't really matter to us unless our software can't break it.
