I know I did something wrong

    I just installed a SmartXX chip in my V1.0 XBOX.
    I couldn't find a clear tutorial so here's what I did:

    I flashed the chip with the software that I downloaded from SmartXX, the 3345.

    I flashed the chip with X2.5032 bios (I don't think this was right)

    Then I ran Slayers Evox Auto Installer V2.5.

    Xbox still won't recognize the back up I have. I keep getting disc unknown.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    could be your backup is at fault....but i can't tell

    I think you're right. I got a back up from a freind to try and it worked.

    Try Slayer's V 2.6 on a CD-RW. It's an updated version of what you tried earlier.

    you should search around for a clear tutorial and do the whole process over
