I have dot halo and i know how to open all the stuff but i need to know wehre i get the maps, can any 1 help

ok i have no clue how to mod in halo2 and im not going to mod in matchmaking because i love matching and am not a noob so i wouldnt abuse my powers so please someone help me i downloaded dothalo, winrar, and flashfxp i still dont have a clue what to do, but i cant mod w/ AR because i tried and it didnt work please dont ask why because i didnt understand i just some help from someone experienced.

Hay buhbuh i want to know the same thing as you. I have no clue on how to do this and need help with it. I have all the same things that you have but all i need to know is how to get halo 2 on my xbox hard drive. Also how to get the maps on my computer. ok here. to get the non modded totally normal maps u play on do this:
use flash and open up ur xbox
go into the E folder
forgot which is first go into tdata and find the folder ending i 64 or switch that step around
now there are three folders those are the ones w/ the maps in them.

 

how do i connect my xbox to flashfxp can u plz explain wat u mean by that and how to do it

 

Also w/ ur xbox on where should you be like the dashboard, halo2 main menue. Also is this the first step in the modding process?
