I have lots of old family video I transfered to DVD on my standalone Panny DVD burner and I can't import them into WMM because the file types are wrong.

How do I convert VOB files to avi or wmm?

Thanks to all from this newbie!

    And heres the link:

Its a bit pricey and they charge for upgrades.

I use the older version occasionally. As far as converting DVD to .avi or .wmv, my older version does not. It converts in the other direction, ie, mpeg to DVD-Video.

If you want to use WMM, DVD to AVI converter from Fleximage works OK for me. I convert to mpeg and then open it in WMM. You could also convert to .avi. $24.95 is fairly inexpensive.

There are quite a few converters available. Try a Google search.
