I was soldering at the SX point. ( on top, right: http://infinitymod.com/matrix/files/chips/Matrix Infinity/V12-V13/PAL-V12.JPG) and then the whole block thing felld off .. don't know what to do now.. (i lost that little block, but i have a simular block in an old harddisk, that one is a little bit bigger) hope someone can give me advise
The little thing you knocked off is either a resistor or a capacitor. When I messed my PS2 up, I gave it to a mod chip installation guy and he ordered the right part. If you can find the EXACT SAME part somewhere, then go for it. Hope this helps.
