here goes...I have an RCA DVR40 Tivo....is it possible for me to swap in a larger drive instead of it 40g. unit..??
don't know the specifics of tivo, but I have replaytv and you can easily upgrade the drive. If tivo is similar, you need to find a program that will format the drive for you in your computer which you can then swap out with your old one. i upgraded my old school 10GB drive with a 120GB, and it works great. try this site http://www.newreleasesvideo.com/hinsdale-how-to/index9.html
