you need Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools Download and Install First http://www.the-creation.com/v600/bestanden/mmpt_1.23c_EN.zip Then Download and Upgrade it http://www.the-creation.com/v600/bestanden/mobilePhoneTools_2.16_US.zip
when i installed the mpt it told me that same thing as seven. could anyone tell me the steps that you did to install the thing cuz i just press that setup icon.
I just had the same problem BUT I problem-solved successfully. Create a new folder such as Motorola and put in an easy to find location (note the path of this new folder)but NOT on your desktop.Move all the files that you downloaded to that new folder. When the installer prompts you for disks, browse to find your new folder. That should do it.
yeah it told me to install disc 1 , um you just need to extract all the file and then run setup , im running win xp and thats how i got it installed on my pc
well if you look in the folder were you downloaded it to , in the top left corner ,u should have the option of extracting all the files, once u do that run setup again and it should work
I get this error on trying to install the first program on XP: Error Description: DLL function call crashed: PbkInstall_GetBookNames Has anyone else experienced this?
i ahve a v220, adn i ahve downloaded mobile phone tools and the whole bit, but i am unable to find the v220 phone on the list. where is it and can you put on a run through about how to set it up, all i want to do is get my pictures on my computer
You're right, the V220 is not listed, select the first generic entry in the drop down list. I could not find anything within the software that would allow transfer of pictures/ringtones etc. - can anyone else advise?
i tried using the generic phone one, but it didnt have the picture option, so i put v300, and it worked, its not perfect but all i wanted to do was get the pictures and i did, thanks for the help
V220 phone doesn't show up on the list because it is not inlcuded with MPT 2.16, you have to update your MPT to version 3.19 by running Live Update. Once you install version 3.19, your V220 phone should be detected by the software.
