i've been looking for 19 hours STRAIGHT yesterday and i've only found 1 site with .gcm files and for some reason, the download won't start. i have the stuff to make .gcm's and .iso's but my lappy here doesn't read Gcube cd's is there anything i can use?
1) hit up torrent sites for gamecube games, often found in multipart .rar archives, or hit up usenet and look for the gamecube binary groups. 2) of course your laptop doesn't read gamecube discs. Since the first generation JP titles, PCs can't read the mini-DVDs they use.
Gamecube? Doesn't have to be complex. Especially on TPB. that one word grabbed me 4 pages of results.
Uh.. no. Only a gamecube can read gamecube discs. TPB=ThePirateBay. the way that people have all the images, is because they've made their own rips and shared with others. It really isn't hard, all you need is a modchip or PSO, the BBA and a computer. Your computer will never be able to read gamecube discs, just like it'll never be able to read dreamcast discs.
Know about it? I've owned 3 and currently own my 4th! And it sees more play than my gamecube.. which, sadly, doesn't say a lot these days. :/
i got a working iso (FINALLY) and when i run it on the emulator it's reeeeeeeeally slow i don't know how to explain it though it's like the frames are seperated and the fps is low is there a way i can fix that? like.... speed it up or something? the EMU is dolphin
Yeah. Stop being so cheap and go get an actual gamecube to play it on. The gamecube is a HELL of a lot more powerful than an SNES, which chokes on even an 800MHz processor. To run a Gamecube emulator at full speed with commercial games, you would need a processor that runs at least 10GHz, which isn't gonna happen for at least a few years.
i already have a Gamecube thanx for the info u gave me and d00d what would i be doing with Gc disks if i didn't have a GC? (please don't answer, that was retoracle) CYA
Well, honestly, there's been a few dorks around here lately that refuse to buy an actual gamecube and bitch that their emulation runs so slow on their 4 year old junker system, then claims that they've hacked together their Xboxes into their PC cases and are running Linux. Personally, I just do streaming when I want to. Much cheaper.
