Hi, so I just installed an older burner (NEC DVD+-RW ND-3530A) in a "newer" machine running Windows 7. I am encountering fatal errors while burning non-encrypted DVD folders onto DVD9 media. Here is some further information: I'm using Nero Burning Rom 10 The burner is definitely capable of dual-layer burning The burner does have the latest firmware (104C) I use Verbatim DVD+R_DL I burn at 2.4x And I have burned this particular movie before using the same DVDFab software & Nero burning (before my machine crashed and I restored it) - so I know that it's not the movie either. I apologize in advance for the length to follow, but from all the posts I've read, it seems that the Nero Error Log is very useful for you brilliant individuals who actually understand what it means (lol, myself most certainly excluded) So here is my log - I hope it is informative and that someone is able to help. Thanks for the suggestion. So I tried Imgburn for the first time, and it only got about 8% through. Below is the log if it makes any sense.
