I need another person's knowledge

    I am a ps2 guy. My cuz asked if i can fix his xbox so I accepted. He has a mod chip in it. Recently, it started to blink red and green as u guys call it FRAG or watever. On the screen when it loads up it has a number 07 when it reaches to the error screen. Is that a error code 07 or is it a FRAG? And any other advice on to break this error.

    About the mod chip part im not 100% sure if it is a hard mod or soft mod. I don't kno how to tell. Sry for the double post

    so what can i do to revive the xbox?

    Get a new HDD, and format it. You will have to get the eeprom key. You'd better hope he backed up his eeprom on his computer, or else your gonna need an eeprom reader.

    Do u hav to buy a new hdd or can i use my old 1 and format it. And he did not back up his eeprom key.
