i need help burning a movie that will play on ps2

    1)what's better to have? video_ts folder or image files
    2)what program should i be using to burn?
    3)step by step guide to burn the movie
    4)what media should i be using? just tell me, i'll probably go buy the dvd+-r

    i have scph-30001 ps2 which i think is v5 or v6

    Hi there,

    I have read a few times that PS2 are real picky.

    Doesn't really matter what burning software you use.

    Want success, use really good quality media (Taiyo Yuden / Verbatim).

    Burn slow @ 2x (4x MAX) but to be sure, use 2x.

    You don't have to say "i need help burning a movie that will play on ps2"
    The ps2 has a regular dvd player inside it. If the burnt disk works in any dvd player, then it will work on the ps2. The ps2 doesn't require a different kind of image file or disk then a regular dvd player would. Here are answers to your questions:

    1) video_ts (those is the standard dvd video files)
    2) Nero,dvd decrypter, anything you can get for free on afterdawn
    3) Get your video_ts files(if you dont have them then tell me)
    Burn all of the files onto a dvd. burn 2x or 4x- Thats it
    4) best media is verbatim, maxwell, sony..some people say memorex isnt good, but has worked perfect for me in both ps2 games and movies

    PS: it doesnt matter what version PS2 you have. Why would that matter?

    have you even tried it before?
    i'm asking the question to the guys who've done it already.

    maybe gravypoop might know what he's saying but yes it does matter what version ps2 you have cus the older versions cant read dvd+r's
    and they're all different in which brand dvd's it can read.

    CAME ACROSS SAME PROBLEM....VERBATIM (OR TY) AT SLOW SPEED, WORKS THE BEST. MAKE SURE NO LABELS EITHER. Shoot...sorry bout the caps.
