Im kinda new at this whole dvd burning thang and i need help. I've burnt a couple of dvds before and they all took like 3 hours to burn. Also the movies themselves are only like from 500mbs to 1gb so y does it fill up the whole dvd and goes over. And why does the quality succ. i dunno im lost. I've used a program dat was already put on my computer when i bought it called Sonic and i have also used Nero 7. Im lost so any help will be appreciated. thanx
ya if u could give us some info on = wat ur trying to burn, wat disks ur using, so on, so forth... it would much helpfull in trying to find out wat is happening. o yah wen u post a chain its also better to give wat ur problem is in stead of just veuge-ness ^_^
@foxpaws, in one of your posts you asked how to you do so by helping others, I think you could do better by using correct English to start with.
wats funny is thats not a quote from me, i never actualy said that... but yes i did ask somthing along the lines of that... sorry but im new at the hole forum thing so i might be a litle "rough around the edges" as for the spelling, my keyboard tends to stick s i try to type as little as possible ^_^

sorry you all im kind of new at the whole forum thing. Alright im trying to burn xvids, divx and avi's that i have downloaded and im using regular dvd-r's (4.7 GB). i hope that is enough information. if you need to know anything else just hit me up. im sorry for my lack of knowledge on this whole subject. still a newbie. thanx.
datboid , Welcome to the forum, You will need to convert those files to mpeg-2 DVD Compliant format and then burn that compilation w/ DVD Shrink. Tou use DVDShrink to compress the files ( if needed) so they will fit on a disk. You can then use Nero to have Shrink automatically burn the files to the DVD for you Free program to convert : AVI2DVD: http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareAvi2Dvd.html

jaefrax , He probably did something that was against forum rules after he was warned. Suggest you PM a Mod or PM the AD Bosses as this thread is not about who got banned. They will know what happened but the members posting here will not
