Interesting device. I am aware that people are installing linux on these kind of devices, but I can't begin to guess what distro will best fit the bill without a lot more information.. Types of drives, does it have the capability to run an external cd drive on usb, how much ram..keyboard, mouse etc. I would be tempted to try one of the small live distros that installs to, and runs from a pendrive. As for a floppy distro, the only one that may fit the bill is angelfire which can be found here http://www.bootdisk.com/linux.htm Looking at your screenshots,,bad EIP errors are very often a low memory problem.. What kernal boot disk caused that, and did you try low memory mode? You will probably do better looking in the forums of the live linux distros for other people who have experience of this hardware. I only use normal pc type stuff.. [edit] not a lot of help out there.. http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/sl...und-funky-computer-i-wanna-install-linux.html
http://deliverator.silverfir.net/?p=341 Read that article and it's comments. It's basically a system that usually runs on customised Unix, so getting it to do anything other than what it was designed for *music management for devices like elevators and the like* will be quite a task. [edit]hold on, just noticed your pics came from the same log i linked to... is that your blog then, or did you just borrow this guy's pics and forget to check the comments on his blog entry?[/edit]
I don't think he has one! nice one D for exposing what is probably more BS from tablet. Why doesn't Ad save us all some hassle and effort and perma-ban the toad?
