Did u know that u posted this message like 4 times??????? Did u look through the forum first???? Sorry don't rightly now as I have a have the swap magic and got it through a website
here is why I'm posting, I put the swap magic disk in my pc. I thought it was going to blow up. I don't think you can copy whatever files are on those disks in the first place. How are you going to get a disk image? Even if you could, you would need a swap disk to load a burned swap disk! The ps2 needs the Sony boot sector to start.
No U cant. This is because SwapMagic is a pressed disc. They have an area called the BCD (burst code data) area which our CD/DVD readers/writers cant access hence they cant write it 2 a copy. Guess where Sony keep the data that says "Im an original CD/DVD" yeah u guessed it in the BCD area. & even if u could copy it (I have a copy of the CD version) U need an original SMD so that yr copy will work. My copy of the CD version works (but only if u use the original first, or if the machine its being used in is chipped. Untill u can get around the BCA problem a copy is fairly useless
