i need help~~ PLEASE

    hi im very new to this site seen that alot of u are very smart with computers.. i have a really big problem with my toshiba a100 le100 laptop everytime i turn it on theres a password!!! people are telling me its the bios password? it happened after i put in a new battery on the motherboard i had a old password but now its not working is there anyway i can reset the password without spending money!!! please help me out!! im going crazy

    First of all are you happy to open up your laptop?

    If you are try opening it up and taking the battery of the motherboard. Leave it for around 20 minutes and then put it back and voila the password SHOULD be gone.

    its not working :( are there anyother ways i can fix this problem i really dont wanna go spend 300$ to get it fixed
