I currently have a Dell 4550 computer with an e:_NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A drive.I have tried to use my easy cd creator to make cds using cd-r type blanks. These have worked in my drive for 3 years now. All of a sudden it got stuck while recording, and now it says "the disc in the recorder is not the proper media for this project. Insert a blank cd or a cd with enough free space to record the project." This message comes up when I use the same blanks cds I have always used and even when I try to record just one song. Can someone help?
try a firmware update , check here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php also try uninstalling and doing a clean reinstall of the software you are having problems with. or use nero which is a much better program anyway and are you sure the CD-Rs you have now code out the same as the ones you have used in the past? run them though DVD Identifier and see. plus you needed to post here i will ask a mod to move it http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/38
