i just got a 30gb video ipod. i put 2 videos on my ipod and they were working fine. then the next day i went to play them, and the video doesn't show up. it plays as a normal song without the video. i can't figure out how to make the video play. also i can't figure out how to put pictures on. i'm so new at these things. =\

    A little odd.
Delete the video file and sync the video file from your PC to your iPod again.
Or, what settings did you changed?

In the menu for videos there is a selection called settings. Maybe you turned the tv output to ON. This would make the audio play but the screen would just display the title of the video like you were playing a song.

I think you can just put digital photos in a folder called PHOTOS that shows up when the ipod is connected to your computer and you look at it in explorer.

You can also sync them with itunes by going to EDIT|Preferences and select the ipod tab with your ipod connected to the computer. There is a tab for photos as well as some other stuff.

    Good luck.

At the bottom right hand corner of iTunes there are four icons. The first one, with the iPod icon, will take you to the Preferences Menu faster.

Then, if you go to the "Photos" Tab under the "iPod" tab, there are several options, one of which is the "Synchronize photos from: ____[album name here]_____". You can choose one of these folders and the entire thing, or a subfolder, will be copied into your iPod.

If you're like me, however, and have waaaay too many pictures all in different folders, I recommend setting up a folder just for your iPod pics. This way, you can make this folder a "Best Of" selection and avoid putting in all those blurry shots the world should never see ;)

    Hope this helped!
