Im not sure if this has been asked and answered already, i havent seen it on the forums myself but. I have a movie i downloaded, im not sure if its a divx. its a .avi file and it has a seperate file for subtitles thats .srt. I wanted to know how i would be able to add the subtitles to the movie permanetly so that im able to burn it to a cd and watch it on my standalone dvd player. Im not sure how to go about this becuz its a .avi file and at its current size 700mb its too big to be put on a vcd or svcd format. so can some1 help me out. if ur a lil confused - How to add subtitles permanetly? - How to make it smaller so that its a SVCD - How to convert it to DIVX if its not already or what. -------------- edit: sorry to have posted this i've found a guide for it, but the thing i dont know how to do is to make it small enough for one cd. I do not want to split the file for two cd's beacause that takes away from the whole movie watching experience if im watching it on my stand-alone dvd player.
I am trying to do the exact same thing... permanently add subtitles to an xvid file.... can you please tell me where you found the guide for it and did it work? Thanks in advance
