hi, i need help with buying a computer and i have heard that HP's and compaq's are cheap because they crash almost every day and that they have almost no computer capabilities at ALL. thank you
i bought a hp-Compaq Presario SR1911X xp-home 7-14-06 499 dollars for my grand-children to play computer games....and it has never crashed and all 5 children use the computer all the time

cheers. and it's already been teleported. as to your original question i use loads of OLD Compaq pc's which i'm more than happy with and my laptop is a very new HP Pavilion however i'd rather others comment on your purchase as they'd probably have more up to date knowledge than me, but i'll stay subscribed anyway
skyline- Have had Compaq desktop - Overpaid for it but good service out of it ! Bought Compaq V5305WM @ walamrt before christmas and was screwed up straight out of the box ! Could'nt get past the opening credits - WinXP screen ( error message windows installation incomplete reinstall windows ( No restore disc ) Returned to wallyworld for refund ! looking for a replacement now!
