I need help with my dvd shrink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, latetly my dvd shrink has been having problems for some reason> After I have inserted my disc and done everything that i need to do to cut it down, i go to click on 'Backup' and the whole program shuts down and it doesn't come up with the window where it converts and just returns me to my desktop.

Any ideas of what is wrong with it? I have tried to reinstall it but continues to do the same problem, can anyone help me fix this problem.

Dejan: No error messages at all? We really need more info to be able to diagnose the problem. Any other system problems you are aware of?

That said.... First thing to try is to uninstall DVD Shrink and reinstall it. This has fixed a problem for me in the past.

 

i must admit that it sounds like shrink has become corrupted...

 

I have had this issue a couple of time. I fixed it with a simple re-boot. ;-)

Yes, an error message appears about sending an error report to windows, but thats all.

I have run spy sweeper and sweeped my system but the problem still occurs.

yes this rings a bell? try the uninstall and reload, but may be a virus??????????

Hey, I'ved had this problem quite a bunch of times. It always happens when either the disk is extrememly scratched and gunked up, or the decryption is too strong for it. (Usually the scratched up part)
Anyways,

First clean your disk somehow.
Secondly, run dvd Decryption on it, since it is very aggresive in reading disks. Then open up DVD Shrink and open the decrypted file.
