the first time i did this i screwd up and now i got a new xbox. i found a website that tells me how to softmod my xbox (agent under fire method) i will tell u what it told me, if anyone could tell me if there's anything else i need to do pleas tell me!!! and what's better a slayer installer 2.6 or auto installer 3.0 someone pleas respond. ok here's what it says... 1. download file bond:all from action replay then run it through Winrar to unzip it 2. copy the file to xbox hard drive 3. load file from hard drive 4. after it's loaded create an MS backup 5. click "install softmod" 6. click "install unleash X" then install it to C 7. Restart Xbox 8. go to settings 9. change network connection to DHCP (i have direct connection to the internet) 10. save the changes 11. then reset xbox and it should be softmoded if anyone has anything to add or any suggestions PLEASE post them here.
EEPROM backup if any thing happends to your HDD down the line.Or for some reason it connectes to xbox live.....
