but when i watch it on my PC it is really good quality and it is the long way and it look really good

Dont encode with nero, use TMPGEnc or DVD2SVCD with TMPGEnc or CCE SP or ProCoder. The answer to your question though may be that you have arrange method set to maximise in nero express. Go to normal nero and right click on the divx when you've added it to your compilation and change it from maximize. The quality will suck though having used Nero. TMPGEnc plus on Highest quality gives good VCD quality!!

I suggested TMPGenc because Nero cant encode properly and if you use it with DVD2SVCD it will automatically cut it for you at the end of the encoding process!!

Might and might not because VCD was around before SVCD so a lot of DVD players will play VCD only. However if it doesnt, the vcd header trick might work which is basically tricking the dvd playing into thinking an svcd is a vcd!

well after encoding an svcd file you would multiplex it as non standard vcd with TMPGEnc (easier than it sounds!!) and then burn it with nero as a non standard disk and your dvd player should play it back because it thinks its a vcd!
