i need help

    I have a sony vaio laptop someone gave to me, and they have a password on the laptop but it seems to be stored on the board. there is no cmos battery to take out.Does anyone have any idea how to take the password off, or get into the bios?

    Try swapping the BIOS chip if you can.

    Guess or Look for a reset jumper.
