use cd-rw put m7 renamed to bios.bin must be 1024kb with a 100-200mb dummy file abc.dat drag the file and the bios to your buring menu then burn it, To tell the truth I never flashed the 2.3 but that how the 2.2 was done I tryed to flash my 2.3 with a 4977 bios and fraged the chip got the new 4979.06 bios hot swaped the chip and all is good I dont know about the M7 I heard it fine with the chip I would put your M7 on banks 1 and 2 and 4979 on 3 and 4 I also heard that cromwell won't take these bios and you my have to flash with ozflash first then the new bios. hot swap worked if you have a working modbox around.b
