Hi, sorry if this has been asked but i have searched the forum and just cant find what im looking for. Im using Nero Vision 4. Is there a way to create a small clip that plays before the DVD menu? U know the way commercial DVDs do?

you could import a video into Nero Vision Express or even a VOB and choose to Edit the movie. Bring the time bars to where you want the video to start and then place the end bar where you want the video to stop. Then choose to export the edited video which you then can use the smaller video file you just edited as a Menu video background. It will play at the same time with Menu buttons and all. You cant have the video play then have the menu buttons pop up after the video. It all will come up at the same time.

Take a tour via Nero Vision's help steps or ask a Nero Tech Support for more info.

    Good luck!

Thanks folks. I take it this means Nero is not the tool to do what i need? What i want is some real DVD authoring availability. Just like a commercial movie u get on DVD, theres a small intro or some trailers for some upcoming movies and then the menu kicks in, which also doesnt have just the menu animated in the background, it has a cool way of introducing the menu buttons. Any ideas what other programs allow this?
