Ok I can not get intouch with roxio. they are gone for the weekend.

For some reason, I can not uninstall eascy creator6 off of my computer. I went to add and remove on my computer and it was not there however the software is very much there.

I went to the site to see if they had an answer for me and they tell me to do add and remove.
I want to take it off, if any one else knows what i should do I would appreciate the help.
    thanks

hi gretta, if you cant seem to find it in the add remove folder may be try a search for it (start - search) or if you access program files folder on your c: drive look for roxio.Go into the folder and see if you can see an icon that says uninstall.Click it on and follow the prompts (thats assuming there is such an icon)

first I want to say ty for everyone who answered.
Now I got to tell you I feel real special right about now. I found it in add and remove.. I was looking under roxio and it was under easy creatorcd/dvd 6. Go figure. rofl

I felt real smart after I saw that (NOT!).
I wanted to edit but it was too late. I was getting so annoyed with everything I went to rest and come back and i saw it.

ANyways. I was following the directions of the black list that was posted. I took off drag and drop through add and remove programs.
Now do I take the whole thing off now through add and remove? I want to make sure i understand everythung right.
then go use the zapper thingy from roxio to make sure it takes out everything that was left behind.
then I am going to unistall my dvd x copy platinum 3.2.1

I dl Nero6. I have not installed it yet. I just want to take my time make sure i am doing everything right.
that is what i [bold]want[/bold] to do so far.

Once again ty so much for the help.

    Hi,

If your goal is to completely remove Roxio and all of it's components, then yes.

Yes, zapper60 is used after you uninstall Roxio.

    Good call :)

    Top choice!

That's the best way. Get everything you don't want anymore uninstalled, try RegClean if you want, squeeze in a reboot then install Nero.

You may find RegClean a useful little tool. It'll remove lingering registry entries left behind after you uninstall various software. It's fairly straightforward to use and does a good job. Here's a link:
