ok ive tried to connect my xbox and my computer together with Smart ftp but every time i put the address in there and login it says it cannot find the xbox can anyone tell me what the hell to do cause im stuck! and how do i know if ive beeen banned from xbl because i tried signing on and when i click my gamertag it doesnt even say sighning it it just goes to the menu

You have to give us more info. Are you using a softmod or a mod chip? If you are using a softmod, then you have to coldboot to get on live. If you have a mod chip, it must be disabled/turned off to get on live. You might want to go to system config, then settings, and look at what the first IP says. That should be the one you need to put in ur ftp program. user: xbox pw: xbox You will have to see what your network is setup to be; e.g: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Which ever it is, is what you will ahve to change your ip to and change the last few numbers to; e.g: 192.168.1.110 or 192.168.0.110 then set it to static ip. Then you can connect to your xbox. When you are done and want to go on live, you will have to take off your static ip. Hope this helps.
