I keep getting the error message stating that I need to input a DVD game or music CD on my X-Box when trying to boot the evox dash. I am burning the evox iso onto a cd-r. I am unable to burn this to a DVD with Nero. Do I just need to try a different type of Cd or is there some other solution?
If you're trying to load EvoX to your xbox from the Cd and it won't work, try to FTP the files into your xbox
CD-R's are at best a 'Mixed Bag'! I think the only known Drive that can read 'em on the XBOX™ is the Samsung One. If you have a Thompson (1.0~1.1) or a Phillips (1.2+) you will not be able to read CD-R's without major modifications to the Drive's Pickup Unit! What can you do?!?! That answer is simple! Use CD-RW's... Almost every XBOX™ can read those! (oh yeah since your dealing with 'Unsigned Code' you will most likely have to have some kind of Modchip in place to actually execute any CD / DVD that you wish to put in there that is not an Origianl XBOX™ DVD to begin with...
