OK, I want to get a mod chip so I can backup all my games so its no big deal if my niece tears them all up...
So I was wondering..whats the best chip out there?
Should I get solderless or regular? Because Ive hears solderless ones have bad connection problems
Whats the easiest way to flash the bios?
Whats the best bios/dashboard for a chip?
Thanks alot anyone who helps..I appreciate it.

    1.There are 3 chips out there that are "Excellent-The Xecuter,Xenium Spice,SmartLxxV2.
    2. If you can't solder or if you don't know someone that can solder chose the solderless, they've improved greatly just go to teamxodus site and watch the spice video its amazing.

3Either FTP or DVD your choice as far as flash goes.

    4. Thier is no best dashboard but Avalaunch is great

    Hope this helps

I'd also go with the X3 chip. The X3 can be flashed by disk, ftp, or http. And like Macdawgg said there is no best dash, but I also use Avalaunch. If you just want to play backups but wouldn't mind some extras you could use Xbox Media Center as a dash also. Just try some of them out.

Alright thanks...by disk you mean I can get a disk of it, or burn my own and just put it in the disk tray? If so, where would I go to get it? I know how to get on xbins...just not sure which one it'd be.

there should be a tutorial on how to flash the X3 chip on the teamxecuter webpage. And for the disk all you would need to do is burn a dvd with a dummy file and the bios file onto it....that's all to prepare the disk. The rest can be explained on the webpage.
