i need some help!!!

    is there a program out there that will let me retrieve files from my hard drive after i have installed an os? i didn't back up and now i would like to retrieve some vacation pictures off of the hard drive the pics are on.

    It depends on your situation.

    1.we don't know if this is a dual boot pc with 2 os's
    2.we don't know if you uninstalled your current os and just replaced it with a new one,and how you did it(most give you choices when uninstalling like a partition,full reformat,save my docs etc).
    3.If this is a usb hdd.

    etc.

    In most cases no, there is no way if you did a full uninstall then it wiped the hdd clean of all files.

    it is possible as did that when ghosted an empty hd onto a data hd instead of vice versa. got a program of a friend to do that after downloading trial version that saw the info but won't retrieve without paying for it. try these links.
