I am very frustrated. I went out and purchased the Sony DW-U10A X4 DVD+R/RW/-R/RW/CD-R/RW Recorder and the Swap Magic Discs with the slide tool for the sole purpose of coping PS2 games.

So far, I have been able to copy only Madden 2004 and nothing else. I failed at NHL 2004, Soul Caliber II, Splashdown and NBA Jam 2004.

Can ANYBODY please help me with this problem???

Understand, I am new at this and I am not very familiar with all the different types of products and software.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Ok, first off, good job in buyin a +/- drive; now... to backup a DVD5 [regular dvd game] all you need are either RecordNow or DVD Decrypter, take your pick, but RecordNow does tend to give error if the DVD surface is not clean so what out... if there are visible scratches use DVD Decrypter. Burn with any media that you have boot up with in the past [Ritek, Imation Version2.0, Apple DVD Media; these work for me]... remember not to burn higher than 2X, even though you spent the extra 50-100 US dollor [or equivalent] for the 4X higher burn speeds. If you need help using either of the mentioned programs, just holler!
