First off, THANK YOU if you took the time to come in here and help! We have WMP 10 installed, and I was really happy with it. Finally figured out how to use it quite effectively with 2 different mp3 players, made playlists, and thought we had it all figured out. Now I realize that not all of the songs I have on my computer [and some are even in the library], they will not play. All the songs that won't play are over 128 kbps. I *thought* that with ffdshow audio and video codecs downloaded, and also the most recent version of powerdvd, that it would make WMP great, but these songs still won't play. Could it be a setting? Or do I need yet another codec? Would RazorLame mp3 help? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I really think it's my settings, I have the latest ffdshow [upgraded yesterday and powerdvd [7 I think, upgraded that less than a month ago]. I just downloaded g-spot and it says I have the right codecs [ffdshow]. So that's why I think it's my settings, but which ones, and where do I start? I'd really appreciate some help!
