I need suggestion for quite cpu fan

    I have an intel core 2 duo and like to change the fan it's a little noisier , I would like a quiet fan any suggestions?

    search locally then read what info there is on the fans available for the type of cpu & heat sink you have or take the tower in to a local pc store or just the fan they should be able to match something up

    I have an old 7 year Dell that I can't even hear it running.It also has an intel core 2 dual processor.It shouldn't be that hard to find a quieter fan at a computer store.

    JST1946, most likely that dell is using a blower fan which is different from regular cpu fans.

    Anyways it is nice and quiet and works good.I keep it nice a clean all the time.Blow it out once a month.
