I need the Reverse - How do I go from DVD to MPEG?

    Can someone help me? Im looking for the reverse order, and all I see is how to go from MPEG to DVD. I have about 30 dvds that I want to load on my Ipod. What program can I use or whats the steps to go from actual dvd (already decrypted) to creating a MPEG file?
