I need TMPGEnc alternatives... suggest plz :D

I think that TMPGEnc just doesnt like me or something because I've gotten some other encoders to do what it cant, however they resize stuff wrong. Im using the cce sp demo ATM because its the only thign that seems to be working but, it does not have any option to keep the aspect ratio and so if the original avi is in widescreen it will fit the width of the movie and then stretch it out vertically. So if anyone knows how to fix the vertical stretching in cce sp OR of a better (hopefully faster) encoder other than TMPGEnc, I would greatly appreciate it ty ahead of time.
