i need to put file onto disc confused read please

okay i downloaded top gear and it came as 3.14gb for a whole season brilliant i thought untill i added it to convertxtodvd as it came up at 12gb and i only have a 4.7gb disc. i have tried many ways and cant solve it i need the whole season on 1 disc im not to knowledable about this tuff but am i correct in saying if you create a iso i can burn it to 4.7gb disc and it will play in standard dvd player thanks for reading please reply if you can do the iso business can you supply info and programs basically step by step what to do please. or if you have another idea ccould you tell me please thanks if any more info is needed just ask thanks

 

The nominal running time for a DVD-5 is two hours of DVD movies (three would probably be ok).
12GB sounds like a lot of running time for one disk.

Load the output files into DVD Shrink ('Open Files') and click 'Backup'.
Have it output the files to a new folder (or an iso image file) and play them back to see if the quality is ok before burning.
You can use ImgBurn to burn the file folder (or iso) to disk.

hi ok i burned the 12gb file to disc and it plays but not the prpoer way it has the top gear startup just where it says top gear and it flashes with a green screen looks like its corryupted not sure though so i opened the iso up that i made which came as 3.14gb and it says not bootable on magic iso so i changed to bootable and clicked save but it stays at 49% doesnt move i belive the reason is becuase it says not bootable correct
