I need to shrink an AVI video file -- What video converter will allow me to control the size of reduction?

    How do I reduce the size of an AVI video file? I don't want to convert it - just reduce its size?

    I'd like to take the AVI file from 3 Gigs to about 1.5.
    What software would allow me to do this? And is there anything I can do to retain most of the clarity of the image through the reduction?

    BTW, I want to keep this an AVI file - no converting to another format.

    AutoGK.
    Select 'Custom size' and insert the size you want.
