Hi,I have a .AVI file and I want to put it on DVD using Adobe Encore. There is a limitation of input file resolutions for creating NTSC or PAL videos.Unfortunately, my AVI doesnt meet these requirements. Can I change the resolution with VirtualDub and were i can find more information about it?
adobe encore won't do that ? i don't have it, but at least they should put that feature. anyway you can look up the guide section. my short guide. resizing means processing the video. which will give a bad video if using compressors like divx/xvid. if you want the video at 720x480 as a whole use huffyuv, a lossless codec. avail at software download section. but first try the frameserver for virtualdub. make sure you already resize it, then select frameserver. save the file and try open it in adobe encore. add filter and resize.
Thank you, Shiron. Can you tel me is there a program that allow DVD reauthor so I can just take a original DVD and add subtitles in my language (or multiple subtitles). There are some guides in Internet, but it looks that they do not work?
