I was trying to get my cabel modem (Motorola SURFbord SB5120)hocked up to my computer by using the USB cord.I just can't seem to get it.I have the USB controler thing instaled and I have the USB drives instaled.The modem works perfectly with the Ethernet cord and while I have that in I get the little orange light lit up telling me that the modem is conected to the computer and there is activity.This however dosn't work while the USB cord is conected.I don't have theboth of the plugs pluged in at the same.So what could be the problim.I know you guys can help so please give me some advice.Thanks for reading this even if you can't/don't help. ok the way to do this is by setting it all up then go to device manger then uninstalling it then go to add hardware then update it again and it should work
