In reading comments by jagfan about the A188 update I would like to say I tried the A089 because I was having trouble copying DVDs. I've had my drive for 6 months or so and had no problems. Then all of a sudden I got an upgrade to my copying software and things started to happen. After installing the A089 at one time I couldn't even read a picture CD continuously. That seems to have gone away now but it still won't back up my hard drives and the problems vary. At many different places the DVDs have writing errors. I've changed brands of DVDs and also used RW disks but nothing works. I was just wondering if someone could tell me where to get the A188 firmware update. I also cleaned the lense.
