I bought a few months ago an i/o magic SATA Enclosure. I wanted to use it with a 200 gb SATA HDD I have, but when I turn on the i/o magic, the blue light turns on once then it starts to blink, and my PC can't recognize it. I tested the hard drive in another i/o enclosure and it works fine. I can't return it nor claim the warranty because I can't find the receipt. Has anybody had this problem repaired?

To be honest, a failed external hard disk enclosure is something almost everyone here will have experienced, they're pretty poor by all accounts. I've never thought to try and repair them, simply because they were so cheap to replace... - You should try and send it back anyway, a lot of warranties don't actually require proof of purchase.
