i Player Vids

    Have the iPlayer on my old ladies and my daughters DS .Tried a few dpg.files to no avail is there a codec or update i can get to make it play them or am i just stuck playing .Avi files on it?
    Which brings me to my next question is there a program to make .avi files smaller without loosing to much quality? Or is there a better player out there?
